THE GAME IS DOMINATED BY SKILLED PLAYERS

WHAT WE TEACH

OUR FOCUS

The game of hockey is getting quicker, faster, and is played in close tight areas all over the ice in a 5-10-20 ft parameter, with stretches of open ice puck movement. Our emphasis is placed on creative puck control skills in small areas with quick turns, spins, pivots, fakes, and constant inside and outside edge skating work. Our off-ice dry land training helps define creative puck control skills. We run players through skill drills and show them how to practice these skills so they can keep developing even while they are away from the ice. NLPD will work on four (4) quadrants of skill based on puck skills development. Our camps are structured, educational, but most of all… FUN!
